Northwoods Software was started in 1995 to develop
and market a Fully Visual Programming Environment. The development tool,
Sanscript, with its unique visual language
is available now for free for personal use.
The highly graphical nature of Sanscript led us to
become experts in interactive diagram-centric applications. We originally
released GO++ (the MFC graphics classes built originally for Sanscript).
Subsequent to that, we produced a Java version (JGo) and most recently
a .NET version (GoDiagram).
When you have engineers running
a business, they tend to fix or extend everything they use in running
that business. Thus, we have ended up being
the leading creator of ACT! add-ons. What started as efforts to make our
own company more efficient and effective are now available to you to transform
ACT! from a "contact manager" into a serious "contract relationship manager"
(popularly known as CRM).
