JGo 5.1 in Beta Test

November 17, 2004. The upcoming release of JGo adds new features and responds to the changing Java market. The major new feature, JGoInstruments, is actually a new product that will be included as part of JGo Professional.

Responding to the exploding use of Eclipse and SWT, we have also reimplemented JGo to run on SWT in addition to Swing/Java2D/AWT.

GoDiagram 2.2 released

October 1, 2004. GoDiagram continues to be the lead in design, features, flexibility and accessibility compared to other .NET diagram controls.

New features in this release include:

  • VB.NET versions of all the sample applications (for Win, Web, and Express)
  • new support for SVG generation (for Win, Web, and Express)
  • new support for customized XML writing/reading (for all platforms)
  • various bug fixes and minor enhancements (see the README file for details)

New Product: GoExpress 2.1 released

September 3, 2003. GoDiagram Express is simpler, smaller and less expensive than GoDiagram Win. Nevertheless, we have tried to put the most commonly used features of GoDiagram Win into the Express version.

JGo 5.0 released

July, 3 , 2003. the fifth major release of the popular Java Diagram component JGo is now available. New items in this release include:

  • New Palette and Overview classes
  • New Link features
  • More SVG support

GoDiagram 2.0 is shipping!

February 10, 2003. Northwoods Software announced today 2.0 of GoDiagram. Prior to 2.0, the product was called Go.NET.

With the release of 2.0, we now support two products:

  1. GoDiagram for .NET Windows® Forms (GoDiagram Win)
  2. GoDiagram for ASP.NET Web Forms (GoDiagram Web)

June 25, 2002. Northwoods Software announced today that it is releasing the next generation of its visualization and diagramming component for Java, JGo version 4.1. JGo 4.1, builds on the company’s current position in the Java market providing the most cost effective and full-featured diagramming component in the industry.

Go.NET V1 Annouced

February, 2002. Northwoods Software announced today that it has completely rewritten its world-class C++ and Java diagramming components in C# to fully support the Microsoft .NET platform.  Northwoods’ newest component, called Go.NET, provides .NET developers with a diagramming component that is both mature in its world-class feature set and well positioned to help developers today save hundreds of hours building similar functionality into their .NET applications.
