Ordering Information

We have two types of license: Internal Use and OEM.

Internal Use License:

For building a single application, limited to distribution to internal users only (employees and contractors) within the organization and for less than 250 users. Distribution rights are perpetual.

OEM License:

For building one or more applications within a single product group for unlimited distribution to unlimited internal and external users. This license is also required for applications deployed outside your organization.

Discounts

Northwoods provides volume discounts that increase for every license purchased after the first (12.5% for 2 licenses, 16.66% for 3 licenses and 18.75% for 4 licenses). These discounts are automatically applied by our on-line shopping cart. A Site License is granted when you purchase 4 licenses. A Site License allows an unlimited number of developers within a single product group to work with the product at one or more locations.

Terms

All of our Go products are licensed per developer. There are no runtime fees or royalties for applications produced with the Go products. (The software license agreement is included with the evaluation kits.)

Support Subscription

An annual support subscription ("Subscription") can be purchased up front by selecting the Subscription product variant. A Subscription provides you with support for one year and also free access to any new versions of the software released during that same period.

A substantial discount is provided if you purchase a Subscription with your software license, and also if you renew your support Subscription annually. We provide this discount because making sure you are up to date and using our latest software is better for both you and us.

Support Subscription Renewals

Subscription renewals to an active Subscription in subsequent years costs $690 per developer license, or $4,995 for renewal of a site license. You will be contacted 30 days prior to your renewal date with details on subscription renewal.

If you did not purchase a Subscription when you first purchased your software license, or if you fail to renew an active Subscription within 30 days of its expiration, you may still upgrade to a Subscription, but the upgrade fee is not discounted, and as a result the cost will be higher than the difference between the "Subscription" and non-subscription license fee.

Secure Ordering

Northwoods Software uses verified secure shopping cart services, and transactions occur over secure SSL connections.  What that means is that we've done our best to provide you an easy to use and secure shopping experience while here at Northwoods Software.

Shipping

Once we have processed your order, we will email you download directions for the products you have ordered. This typically happens within a few minutes (international orders may take longer).  We do not ship media - everything is downloadable.

We also accept money orders, cashier's checks, and personal/business checks in U.S. currency only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and business checks, allow up to 15 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is released. Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days after we shipped it to you, and your money will be refunded. Call 1.603.886.5780 for information on receiving a refund.

Source Code

Source code is available by purchasing or upgrading your existing license to a Source Code Subscription. The Source Code Subscription includes a development license, source code, and access to technical support and version updates. Please contact us for pricing and details.

Taxes

All sales are F.O.B Nashua, NH. The State of New Hampshire does not impose a sales tax. Collection and payment of any other taxes or duties, both US and international, are the sole responsibility of the customer.
